musical arrangement by Gaye (Gabrielle) Murphy captures the
peace,
tranquillity and serenity one associates with German
Christmas
festivities. All carols have been sung
by Gaye, who
has
been singing professionally for over 20 years.

The
illustrated versions of each carol allow the children to produce their own “Christmas Carol Song Book” and the bonus
activities provide extra stimulation for all children.

The
Christmas Carols are ideally suited for:
· Teachers of German, who wish to teach
the students traditional German Christmas Carols.
· Teachers who wish their children to
put on a special performance at Christmas time – the instrumental backing
allows the possibility to perform the carols in both languages.
The
English texts for the carols were written by Resi Schwarzbauer with suggestions
from Herta Uhlherr and permission was received from Peter Uhlherr to use the
texts written by his wife of two of the carols.
