The author together
with Ria Hanawald and the generous financial assistance of Goethe Institute,
Melbourne and the Department of Employment and Training has recently published
a new resource book for teachers of German called "Deutsch - jahrein, jahraus.
The books costs $27.50 and can be ordered from the Goethe Institute, Melbourne,
www.goethe.de/an/mel/material/material.htm.
The book has 152 pages
of simple songs and poems with a lot of repetition that enable children
to learn language in a simple and enjoyable way. The
illustrations done in a German style can be easily photocopied and then
coloured in by the children.
